Shore Tours

As cruise ships normally only let their passengers enjoy our beautiful island for an average of 4 or 5 hours, it is advisable to go ashore as soon as possible and be back at least one hour before departure.

Where to go and what to see also depends on the weather forecast, so what I normally recommend is to decide when we meet.

Should your ship arrive sooner or later than planned, your tour guide will know and will be on time for your arrival.

I can have 4 passengers in my taxi, and the minimum time I accept is 4 hours, as the tours for Cruise Ship passengers have to be a bit different from the ones for visitors who stay in the island for a longer time.

Payment is in cash only, if possible in Euros, and will be settled after the tour is finished.

At he moment the price is 25 Euros per hour/per vehicle.

If you, for some reason, are not able to go on the arranged tour, I would appreciate an e-mail 24 hours before your arrival.

Normally, I get more than one request per cruise ship, and then it will be possible for me to arrange a trip for you with one of my colleagues who also speaks English. The type of tour and the price will be the same.

How to meet your tour guide.

Your tour guide will be waiting for you on the quayside in an open area where the tour buses are usually waiting for their passengers. Your guide will be holding a sign with your name on, so it will be easy for you to recognise him.

After you have left the ship you will exit through one of the arrival buildings, where you will find an elevator or a staircase leading to your tour guide in the open area.

To make the rendezvous smoother and faster, it will be an advantage if you get a general view of the area before you go ashore.
